This is work that I am currently creating and it is ongoing. Keep checking back for updates. I am using a toille textile design as my base and drawing google images from current news events into the domestic pattern.
I was attempting to avoid news to alleviate stress but every time I turn on my computer I am bombarded with images of the news of the day regardless if it is the Kardashian wedding, police brutality, occupy wall street, the X Factor etc...These new paintings are news as seen from the safety of my computer.
